The Staubach Company Featured in Houston Business Magazine

June 2008

The Staubach Company, a privately-held commercial real estate group, was listed in Houston Business Journal’s list of leading commercial real estate brokerage firms.

Houston, TEXAS - June 29 2008 - The Staubach Company was included in Houston’s Heavy Hitters of leading commercial real estate brokerage firms in Houston Business Journal. The journal provides latest breaking business news and resources in the area.

The article, titled “Houston’s 2008 Heavy Hitters: Who’s Who in Houston’s Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Firm” awarded those firms making an impact in Houston’s real estate industry. Senior Vice President of The Staubach Company, Mark Nicholas, was profiled in the article and gave outlook on the industry and his own company.

The Staubach Company’s best sale in 2007 was a 34-acre land sale to Pathfinder Energy Services in Katy, Tex. When asked on the best coaching tip, he replied, “Always see yourself as part of the client’s team, and play for the long run. My business is built on long-term relationships on a foundation of performance and trust.”

Nicholas also commented on how he projected 2008 to look. “I believe that the first quarter was extremely robust like the year 2007. I do think the Houston and Texas economy will slow down and a small amount due to the sub-prime markets, the national recession and massive amounts of credit card debt in this country.”
