South Bay Association of REALTORS is a member organization for real estate professionals that promotes professional standards, provides effective continuing education, favorably influences public policy, serves as a business tool for the success of its members and reaches out to the community.

South Bay Association of REALTORS provides localized resources for about 4,000 REALTOR members practicing in the South Bay area.

As a part of one of the largest state trade associations of its kind in the nation — the California Association of REALTORS (C.A.R.) — South Bay Association of REALTORS joins the Inglewood Board of REALTORS and the Palos Verdes Peninsula Association of REALTORS in comprising the 21st Region of C.A.R.

South Bay Association of REALTORS is a trade association owned by its members. The elected Board of Directors adopts policies which are carried out by staff under the supervision of Chief Executive Officer Kathy Kelly. The association allows many opportunities for its members to interrelate and access services in a variety of ways, both in person and online.

The association serves as a referral source for members, provides a successful mediation service that can also be accessed by other organizations, and is expert at processing information and disseminating it to stakeholders.

South Bay Association of REALTORS has an effective government affairs program that has built strong alliances and partnerships with other real estate-related organizations. The association seeks to foster legislative decisions in local and regional governments that benefit both, real estate professionals as well as homebuyers and the public at large. South Bay Association of REALTORS also benefits the public as a first source for expert information on real estate issues that are unique to the South Bay.

The association’s governance structure is responsive, flexible, and represents its diverse membership. The Board is composed of successful REALTORS and thought leaders in the industry and employs a rational decision-making process that is focused on a clear vision and strategic plan. South Bay Association of REALTORS has a leadership development program that builds essential skills for its current and future leaders.
