Real Estate Auction
There were lots of bidders Saturday at the one-time auction of real estate on the Grand Strand.
The event may have been the largest many years, maybe ever. At least 55 properties, from small residential lots to large development properties on the water front and Intracoastal Waterway, and held by different owners, were auctioned off Saturday.
These properties were mass marketed across the U.S., and people from all over the country were placing bids and coming away with some good deals.
Kurt Scrivens attended the auction and said, “Where else can you go an buy an ocean front home less than a million dollars except an auction. It’s been absolutely amazing.”
Coastal Auction Company, the event host, said auctions like this one can help sell homes faster as 99% of the people who show up will actually buy something.
