Indiana Association of Mortgage Brokers
The Indiana Association of Mortgage Brokers (INAMB) is a not for profit association providing educational, legislative and networking services to residential and commercial Mortgage Brokers throughout Indiana. INAMB was established in 1991 by 5 mortgage professionals to fight for fair legislative oversite and regulation for the industry which would not prohibit legitimate business practices.
INAMB voice has been heard in the state legislation with the passing of House Bill 2027 - Section IC 23-2-5-21, which requires a mortgage business to post a $50,000 bond to obtain a license. In addition, anyone who originates in the state of Indiana will have to complete 24 hours of continuing education to become licensed. The INAMB continues to monitor issues in the Indiana General Assembly that affect the mortgage broker community.
Today, INAMB’s membership includes over 600 broker-owners, loan officers and affiliated service providers across Indiana.The INAMB is dedicated to make the Indiana Mortgage Broker community a powerful voice in our state’s legislative agenda. Each of our members subscribe to a code of ethics that fosters integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
INAMB is affiliated with the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB).
