Dollar Falls Against Yen on Signs U.S. Housing to Damp Economy

The dollar fell against the yen and headed for a weekly decline versus the euro on speculation weakness in the U.S. housing market will weigh on the economy.

The dollar traded at 115.87 yen at 8:18 a.m. in Tokyo from 116.19 late yesterday in New York. Against the euro, it was at $1.3559 from $1.3565 yesterday and $1.3475 on August 17.
